AQIQAH ANNUAL PROGRAM
(GOAT RM1)
Every year, we at Osman Goat Farm will celebrate the Aqiqah Annual Program (RM1 Goat). This program is to celebrate babies born on the same Date as the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. namely on 12 Rabiulawal. This program was organized by us starting in 2011 and received support from the Johor Islamic Religious Council. Babies born on 12 Rabiulawal are eligible to get a goat for only RM1.00.
“The purpose of this program is to achieve the main objective of glorifying the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. in addition to celebrating babies born on that date. We give parents the opportunity to perform aqiqah without incurring high expenses. I hope that this noble effort can be continued in the future”

AQIQAH is important for us to know and understand the purpose of Aqiqah worship before performing it. What we usually understand is to slaughter certain animals and give the meat to those in need.
From the point of view of Islamic law, aqiqah is divided into 3 factors:
1. Slaughtering animals2. Shaving or cutting the child's hair
3. Give a noble name to the child
The law of Aqiqah is sunatmuakkad - that is, the sunnah that is demanded and encouraged even though it is not something that is obligatory. Imam Shafie 'made the conclusion from a hadith in which the Prophet SAW said:
"Every child is redeemed (protected from harm and wickedness) by his aqiqah, slaughtered animals for him on the seventh day, shaved his head and given a name".
(The meaning of the hadith narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi)
Aqiqah is performed with the following parts:
1 Goat for a girl
2 Goats for a boy
Or a cow is divided into 7 parts and 1 part equals 1 goat.
The Prophet said: "A baby boy is judged by the same two goats and a baby girl with one goat"
5 Legal Conditions of Aqiqah

- The animal is halal to eat, dies with a single slaughter and ruptures the pharyngeal veins and red veins.
